The 3^rd Annual South African Comic's Choice Awards™ 2013 - The Art of Funny

After a wild response to The 2012 South African Comic's Choice Awards™ - the South African comedy industry is bracing itself for 2013, and the next evolution - The Art Of Funny - to take place at The Teatro at Montecasino on the 24^th of August 2013.

With signature secrecy, the creative team remains tight-lipped, other than to say that they are pulling out all the stops to deliver another dynamite production and ensure that as many comedians as possible are able to cast their vote smoothly, accurately and easily.

Registration to become eligible for nominations has now closed and voting opened to the public for their chance to vote for their favourite comedian in "The Savanna Audience Choice Award™" category, while at the same time, Comedians can vote for other registered comedians in the other Award Categories between 16^th May and 14^th July.

The show will once again incorporate fantastic collaborations, sketches, stand up and a few wildly unlikely appearances. With the addition of "The Grilling Of A Lifetime" to the calendar (to be held on the 01^st of August at Parker's Comedy at Montecasino), and the brand new "Winner's Lap Showcase" (to be held on the 12^th of October at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City), The Annual South African Comic's Choice Awards™ are truly committed to celebrating excellence in comedy, and pushing for the very highest levels of quality in terms of production.

With sponsors already signing on, and acts beginning to approach the team to propose content, "The Art Of Funny" rolls into production soon, with Comedian Registration opening today. Registration fees will include tickets to "The Grilling Of A Lifetime" event, "The Art Of Funny" Awards Show and the now famous After-party.
