Comic’s Choice Awards™ 2012

While it’s always great to have the organizers tell everyone how good an event was, we believe that the proof should come straight from the pudding. Judging by the quotes we got from the winners, and the commitments made by sponsors and partners – we believe that the success of the 2011 CCA speaks for itself.

“We were proud to be a partner…” said Nolene Bruton, the Director at Tsogo who facilitated the hosting of the event at Teatro.

This sentiment has been echoed by all involved with the partners all expressing their intention to keep investing in the Awards. We are happy to announce that the Times and Kaya have agreed to continue supporting the CCA, and finding new and innovative ways to help us keep the high standard we have set.

Currently, we are just confirming dates for the 2012 Awards ceremony, and then we will inform Comics of the registration and voting schedule.

While the Mayans may have predicted the end of the world, we think they only did so out of anger as they wouldn’t see the show.

The cast list and show content will remain under tight wraps until closer to the time, but Comics and fans can rest assured that we are ramping up budgets and pushing technology and talent to the limit to bring you another slick, startling and fresh night to remember.

We sincerely hope that those Comics who didn’t participate have realised that there is no reason to sit this event out, and that we’ll see you on the 2012 voter’s roll.
