The self-acclaimed Vin Diesel look alike  started 2013 with a bang as he was the opening act for 6 shows at Riaad Moosa ‘s One Man Show; “Whats Next?”, which was held at the Baxter Theatre.  In April he opened for Barry Hilton at his “Best of Everything Ever” tour, which was also held at the Baxter. The good news kept coming as he toured Ladysmith, Newcastle and Pietermaritzburg as Riaad Moosa's opening act on his Doctors Orders tour in May. In June, he will be going to the Grahamstown festival under the banner of; “Kurt Schoonraads Jou Ma Se Comedy Club Presents” .<br />

Just four months after starting comedy, he was the runner-up of Cape Town's Next Comic in March 2011.In June he featured on the line-up of Intimate Comedy Sessions and performed at On Broadway alongside Stuart Taylor for four nights. In July, he was privileged enough to perform at two shows at the prestigious Vodacom Funny Festival at the Baxter Theatre. To complete this good run of form, he featured on the line-up of the Vodacom Funny Festival Community Road Show in July. In June 2012, he was a finalist of the Good Hope fm Laugh Master competition as well as a Graca Comedy Showdown finalist in August.<br />
