Described as a “gem of South African comedy”, Marcel Oudejans had already been performing professionally as a corporate entertainer for audiences for 10 years before making an impact on the Cape Town stand-up comedy circuit in 2010. An accomplished and versatile performer, he is widely recognised as one of South Africa’s busiest corporate magicians, having already performed thousands of hours for over 150 blue-chip corporate clients. <br />
His performance is full "... of deceptions, belly laughter and lots of surprised gasps..." (Cape Times review) :  a simple and perfectly blended combination of old-school magic, modern day humour and sharp wit that makes for a  refreshingly different and unique act on the local comedy circuit. <br />
In March 2012, he sold-out his début One-Man Show, "Sleight of Mouth", which received rave reviews for its entire 6-week run.<br />
His skills have been call upon for several important corporate road shows all over Southern Africa, he has represented South Africa at 'Vismayam 2008' international magic convention in India, and guest performed at 'Jou Ma Se Comedy Club', ‘Rocking The Daisies 2011’, 'Parkers Comedy & Jive' in Monte Casino, and 'Carnival City' (Sun International). Previously, Marcel  performed at the infamous “Madame Zingara” dinner-theatre for almost 4 years. <br />
When he is not performing as a comedy magician, Marcel is a member of "The Long Shots", Cape Town's freshest Comedy Improv Troupe. He is the only South African comedian who is also a member of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa, as well as being a member of the Performing Arts Network of South Africa.
