Described as a cynical grouch with a sense of humour that is intelligent and sophisticated.  Martin has long been praised for his originality and his quality of performance. Martin is an active blogger, and twitter user (@hellpants) He also presents on a freelance basis for 94.5 KFM along with his extensive podcast experience.<br />
Martin was a winner of the "Standard Bank Ovation Award 2011" for comedy at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival with his show "Hellpans & the FBPK" and will be touring it again this year as well as a double header with last years Comics Choice winner Rob Van Vuuren.<br />
He may now call Cape Town home, but his demand has taken him all over the world.  Martin’s hundreds of performances internationally put him right at the top of his game.  From headlining and mc’ing  shows in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Bahrain, Dubai, Spain, Belgium to countless performances locally.<br />
Martin was represented by top comedy management in the UK (They represented Russell Brand, Omid Djallili, Rhys Darby from Flight of the Conchords.
